Ein Zyklus von sieben stilistisch vielfältigen Kompositionen des Kontrabassisten Florian Döling, interpretiert von einem trinationalen Quartett von Musikern, die in dieser Besetzung erstmals zu hören sind. Dass die vier Instrumentalisten dennoch völlig natürlich und wie jahrelang eingespielt zusammenwirken, zeigt trotz unterschiedlicher musikalischer Ursprünge nicht nur ihre tiefe Verwurzelung in der gemeinsamen großen Tradition des Jazz, sondern auch eine erstaunliche kreative Seelenverwandtschaft. Lassen die Stücke doch sehr viel Raum für den individuellen und spontanen Ausdruck jeder einzelnen der vier künstlerischen Persönlichkeiten, die ohne schöpferische Grenzen miteinander kommunizieren und ihr gemeinsames Anliegen in Klänge übersetzen.
