For the 2024 garden concerts of the Freiburg jazz initiative "Jazz am Schönberg", Florian Döling put together his dream line-up with Charlotte Lang (soprano, alto & baritone sax), Linus Rebmann (p) and Aaron Döling (dr). The concerts took place successfully from Sept. 6-8, 2024, and immediately afterwards the band went into the studio with the new program well-rehearsed.It was an exhilarating few days, both in preparation and on stage. With a grand finale in the studio!

The program consists mainly of compositions by Florian Döling, but also includes two compositions by Charlotte and Linus. The program is stylistically very diverse: from calm, floating ballads to heavy swinging, melodic songs and seething funk grooves, to free passages, sometimes in almost psychedelic moods.

For all those who could not be there or who would like to enjoy our music again as concert visitors: 4 new songs by the duo Mike Schweizer & Florian Döling will be released as an EP album in october 2024: Mike Schweizer & Florian Döling - "In A Sentimental Mood". A concert recording from July 14, 2024 from the archaeological collection of the University of Freiburg i. Brsg. New: This album will be released exclusively digitally for the first time, as usual with an extensive booklet and is expected to be available in the usual online stores from october 2024. Under Online-Media you will find the cover and the booklet as well as the most important links from october.
